CD-R titled "Center of the Earth" features Wright's first solo venture. Recorded over the course of 3 consecutive nights by Wright in a large loft, presented to the listener as a four part suite. Compiles heavily-layered improvised guitar drones, cascading effect manipulation, and layers of distortion creating beautiful and ambient synthesized sounds. Opens with a murky resonance of buzzing drones with blips of picks scraping against guitar frets intertwined with harmonized notes. Track "II" follows a similar beginning, pulsing drones quickly lead into a large doomy guitar riff that propells the listener into "III", a long minimal journey to the Earth's core. "IV" closes the album in full psychedelic style with less drone and more delicate notes looped and layered with psychedelic guitar riffs. It's like the watching a thunder storm over the ocean. It's calm and loud and breathtaking all at once.
